In short- I am back and better than ever!
A nice picture of me in front of a random aesthetically pleasing vision board :). I'm back on Youtube by the way!
The New Year
One thing I do not like about the New Year is the surge of changes that are made. What I mean by that is everyone is coming back with projects they started but didn't finish, everyone has all these life changes they proclaim they are going to make. We do this every year and end up what seems to be the same place by the end of the year. Now, recently God allowed me to see exactly why we end up in these cycles- its a lack of spiritual stamina and discipline! However I cant help but feel low key shame coming back on these platforms after being gone for so long for the same reason. Or perhaps this was a well needed- God ordained break? Either way- do you miss me? 😊

Where have I been?
Well, it started off like this: I told myself I was taking a much needed break from all the Christian content creator stuff. I really want to do things in God’s will and oftentimes I am met with a bit of confusion as to exactly what that is. That is part of the reason why I be so inconsistent along with the lack of consistency in a place of prayer and a lack of time. It takes a lot of time to create videos, write blogs etc. And while you are doing all of this you must maintain your personal relationship with the Lord while keeping a job. A lack of spiritual disciplines makes this almost impossible so then you end up draining yourself or worse- speaking outside of the will of God. That is one of my fears- I don’t want to put things out there that are destructive.
So these past months, I’ve just been working. Doing the regular 9-5 as if thats all I was called to do. But now- I have time. Time to pray and time to create. I’m excited to see what God births in this season.
Are you ready?!
I am getting ready. Getting ready for a year of favor- just as my Pastor proclaimed it to be during our end of year 21 Day fast. The end of 2023 was a bit strange for me- I was going through some things. One of the strangest things I went through was ministry burn out which is definitely uncommon for me. Being someone who is used to going non stop- it was a strange place to become bitter in ministry. But I have since gotten over that, thankfully. God is teaching me!
"...my bitterness in ministry served to show me that there are certain blessings my character isn’t ready for-yet."
New Attitude!
I am grateful because i truly believe God is making me ready. I mean, I came into this new year in such a different headspace. For the 1st time in my life Ive been more positive than I’ve ever been. And trust me if you knew what has happened you would be wondering why am I so optimistic. I can only say it is God’s doing- he is doing something special this year, its evident by how he’s working in my mind. I literally feel like I can do anything through Christ who strengthens me and I can not fail. I am certain that this isnt New Years hype and this mindset shift is here to stay. I can not wait to see what will come out of it all.
I will definitely elaborate in future blogs. But I wanted to come on here and say Hello again to you all who have been following me. And also apologize for the inconsistency- what I ask now is that you pray for me. That God will lead me in all that I produce for his glory!
Simply, Bev.
